I can’t put my finger on it but love is in the air. Well, I can actually – Valentine’s Day is near. No one will admit to liking “le jour d’amour”, especially if that person is single, but secretly there is something heartwarming about a day dedicated to love. Valentine’s Day is generally thought of exclusively for lovers but really, telling someone you care (despite the relation) is always a great idea.
Whether you’re spending time with the person you share your life with or watching a romantic movie with the girls, Valentine’s Day is going to win you over this year. The Peacock Parade is offering several Valentine-themed sales for everyone, no matter whom you’re with or what you’re doing.
Fellas, check the site for sensational items your lady will adore. If you’re flying solo this year, no sweat! Showing yourself a little love is never a bad idea. Over the next few days expect an amazing Amrita Singh sale, as well as a sale dedicated to what you’re going to wear on that special night. But there’s no need to wait until then, there are plenty of items currently on sale that will make your heart skip a beat.
Founded in 1998, Kooba is a luxury handbag company that strives to be unique, while still remaining timeless. The Kooba team saw that the market for elite purses seemed to be…well…boring and they wanted to change that. Kooba adds funky closures, zippers and handles to classic designs. They use high quality materials and innovative shapes that are perfect for the woman on the go. More importantly, they cater to women that champion style over fads and trends.
With the success of Kooba, the team launched V By Kooba – a diffusion line that offers well-crafted purses at a lower price point and boy, did we all love that. V By Kooba (and big sister, Kooba) has a hefty celebrity following. Style icons like Rihanna, Hayden Panettiere, Hilary Duff and Kim Kardashian have all been seen sporting this awesome product.
Starting today at 11am, The Peacock Parade will be holding a V by Kooba handbag sale. Save big on your most important accessory. Happy shopping!
There’s only one thing that I love more than ready-to-wear, and that’s couture. The clothing has something extra and it’s not just the heavy beading. The stunning gowns (red carpet alert!), the elite fabrics and the ingenuity make up couture week. This season featured ethereal gowns and fairytale looks. Cream shades and neutral tones were common among all the shows.
Major trends included sheer fabrics, long sleeves, gorgeous beadwork and skirts with varied lengths. It doesn’t matter what your style is because there are enough looks to make everyone drool. Here are some breathtaking pieces. Which is your favourite?
Chanel uses classic white and Lagerfeld smartly designed a mashup of eras. Are those boots? Pants? Who cares, they’re awesome!
Elie Saab offers just the right amount of glitz.
Valentino’s collection was one of the house’s most memorable. I adore it all.
Giambattista Valli adds a decorative collar to an already stunning cocktail number.
Armani Prive gives the print lover something to dream about.
