With the furvor of Spring fashion weeks out of the way, it’s time to focus at our fashionable task at hand – dressing for late fall, early winter. We have been incredibly lucky with the weather but there’s no doubt our luck will run out. The chilly air will increase to full-on freezing gusts and our only defenses will be warm outerwear. Whether you’re into classic black peacoats or down-filled puffers, it’s time to get equipped for winter.
The Peacock Parade is currently offering fabulous coat and jacket options by Urban Code and Badgley Mischka. Flattering cuts and styles are essential when choosing something you’re going to be wearing everyday and these items can easily move from day to evening and from dressy to casual. Check out some of coats available right now!

It’s over! Sad, but true. Luckily World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto left us with looks for Spring/Summer 2013 that we can’t wait to wear come April. Twitter was buzzing last night with mentions of a gold cone bra on the Vawk runway and plus-size fashion on the Allistyle runway. To close the week, Express, the American chain store sent supermodel Jessica Stam down the runway. Fashion week goers were delighted. It’s unfortunate she wasn’t wearing Canadian designed clothing.
Check out the best of the final day of fashion week!

With only one day left of World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto, fashion lovers will once again realize that sadly, Winter, not Spring is on its way. That doesn’t mean we can’t pretend for one more day, right?
Day 4 saw the likes of up-and-comer Triarchy, jacket loving Soia & Kyo and the always consistent Arthur Mendonca. Triarchy is Canada’s edgy, luxe denim line. Their Spring collection offered a hybrid of hippie meets western. Models strutted down the runway in tie-dyed denim and rope tops to match!
Soia & Kyo opted for classic trenchcoats and biege jackets. Simple and timeless is sometimes the best way to go.
But it was Arthur Mendonca who stole the day. His runway depicted a strong female figure, which clean lines, metallics and bright colours. We’re thrilled that Mendonca was able to bounce back on to the fashion seen, stronger than ever.
