Introducing globLove

By Diana   |    July 30, 2012 11:00 am    |   Introducing, Sales, Style, The Peacock Parade Blog   |    off

Liana Artinian is the founder and designer of Canadian lingerie brand globLove. Montreal-born Artinian, has years of fashion experience and a penchant for undergarments. After working abroad for a few years, this whimsical designer returned to Montreal to start her business.

The globLove sale starts Tuesday, July 31 at 11am

Taking its name from the concept of “global love”, globLove is certainly a brand with a heart. Five percent of each sale goes to FINCA, an organization that provides financial support to female entrepreneurs in developing countries. So not only can you get gorgeous, Canadian-made lingerie, but you can also help someone in need. It’s a win, win.

globLove is well designed and perfectly crafting using soft fabrics for ultimate luxury. While the collection focuses more on the romantic rather than the raunchy, there will be no shortage of sexy lace or bows!

Starting Tuesday, July 31 at 11am, The Peacock Parade will have a globLove sale with a great selection of dainty and sexy pieces. You look amazing in your clothes already and now it’s time to look just as good underneath them.

Heat Wave Beauty

By Diana   |    July 23, 2012 8:54 am    |   Beauty, The Peacock Parade Blog   |    off

There’s no question that it’s been hot in Canada this summer. Exceptionally hot! And although we’re staying cool in our new light-weight Peacock Parade purchases, the heat can..well.. melt your makeup off. So I thought it would be appropriate to give you fabulous ladies some ideas on how to look your beauty best even in 36 degrees.

Guerlain’s Terra Soleia is gorgeous to look at but also feels great on the skin. It gives the face a luminous sun-kissed glow.

Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil is waterproof and won’t smudge!

Bobbi Brown’s Rich Color Glass in Pink Nude is a great neutral shade that works with any eyeshadow palettes or blushes.

Givenchy’s Mist Me Gently is the ultimate beauty must. It’s a light moisturizing mist that you can spray on (even on top of makeup) to cool you down.

Smashbox’s Photo Finish Lid Primer prevents that awful eyeshadow crease that happens during the day. It keep the eyeshadow looking perfect all day long.
